Ethel Gartland has joined the faculty

The Foundation is delighted to announce that Ethel Gartland has joined the faculty.

She is a qualified coach and has worked for over 20 years in New York and California in the entertainment industry, principally theatre and television.

Ethel will be joining as the head of psychodrama and her first project will be on the "Relationship Burnout and Prevention Programme" with Magda and Paul.

The foundation plans to launch this innovative programme in the Autumn of 2007

The Alchemism Phoenix

Most beings spring from other individuals – every animal on the planet has a mother, but there is one being which chooses to be reborn by itself. This is the Alchemism Phoenix.

When the Phoenix has lived a certain amount of time in the toil and trouble of this world, or when it has been hurt or wounded by a foe, it chooses to be reborn and breathes its last breath among the embers of a fire that it creates from within – thus the Phoenix is immortal and invincible.

Spending three whole days on its regeneration from within its own body, a new phoenix springs forth, destined to live as long as its predecessor, but with renewed fire, energy and a soul that is destined to be all it can be, transforming itself into gold from within.

The Phoenix is identified with the sun, it is Gold and Crimson in colour and it has a beautiful authentic song which strikes fear into the hearts of the impure and gives courage into those who are pure of heart.

When someone becomes a phoenix, they are clever and wise and they can better complete their destiny on earth. A re-born phoenix can carry a tremendous weight and its tears have extraordinary healing powers.

In the poem Lady Lazarus by Sylvia Plath, she describes her attempts at committing suicide not as failures, but as successful resurrections, eventually transforming herself into a firebird.

The Chinese say that the Phoenix is sent to earth to perform extraordinary works and to help in the development of man. It appears in different stages of the world’s progress and then returns to heaven.
